What is a spring wire?
Spring wire, also known as spiral cable or expansion wire. It has good elasticity, contractility, strong antioxidant properties, and is not afraid of oil stains. Suitable for various special environments.
The materials of spring wires are mainly divided into two types: PVC and PU. On the front, we will introduce their two characteristics:
1. PVC spring wire, high economy, low mechanical and chemical resistance. Moderate elasticity. Suitable for installation and use in light industry, computer and other occasions.
2. PU spring wire, very good elasticity. Has excellent mechanical and chemical properties, particularly cold resistance, oil resistance, weather resistance, wear resistance, and tear resistance. Suitable for use in mechanical manufacturing, power tools, and other applications, it is the optimal solution in most fields.
Size relationship:
(1) Spring wire diameter d: the diameter of the copper wire used to manufacture the spring wire;
(2) Spring coil diameter D: outer diameter of the spring wire coil;
(3) Inner circle diameter D1 of spring wire: inner circle diameter of spring wire;
(4) Spiral length L of spring wire: the static length of the spring wire under no external force;
(5) Working length L0 of spring wire: the dynamic length of the spring wire under external force sitting down;
(6) Spring wire unfolding length A: the total length of the straight line required to wrap the spring wire;
(7) Spring wire tail length: L1 and L2 are used to represent the tails at both ends;
(8) Spiral direction: There are left and right rotations, and right-handed rotation is commonly used. If not indicated on the drawing, right-handed rotation is generally used.
